Will I still have a say in the details of my wedding?

Of course! You make all the decisions! I am just here to bring your dreams to life and make everything run smoothly on the day of.

How are you different from other wedding planners?

I pride myself on being more flexible and inclusive with my packages. Instead of charging you for each added service, I’ve already included them in the package! I want to make the process as stress-free as possible, and worrying about paying extra for every little thing doesn’t help with that at all! Additionally, I’m willing to work with you on a completely customized package if that suits your needs better!

How does it work? What are the next steps?

Reach out to start, and we’ll schedule a consultation. We take about 90 minutes to discuss everything, from your love story to your must-haves. I’ll explain which packages work for you. Once you seal the date with a deposit, I’ll start planning. We’ll keep in touch throughout the process, and I’ll pull it all together for your big day!

What exactly does a wedding planner do?

I offer both full planning and day-of coordination services tailored to your needs. My services include vendor research, budget creation, floor plan design, day-of timeline, vendor coordination, and venue decoration. If you choose my full planning package, I’ll research vendors based on your criteria and provide you with their pros and cons so you can choose. I can also assist with venue walk-throughs, wedding dress shopping, and tastings. As your day-of coordinator, I’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and handle post-reception cleanup and rental returns.

How many events do you handle at once? Can I count on your attention when needed?

In keeping with the stress-free theme, I want to make sure that 100% of my attention is on you and your big day. Therefore, I only take on one wedding per weekend. I also like to be a part of the wedding rehearsal to ensure that everyone is on the same page before the big day.

Is it necessary to hire a wedding planner or can friends substitute for this role?

Weddings are pricey and time-consuming to plan. I can help make your dream day a reality so that you can enjoy all the special moments. Coordinating vendors, managing the schedule, and addressing issues on the big day are just a few things that I can help with. When you hire me as your coordinator, you can relax and be fully present with your guests. Friends and family can also enjoy the wedding without having to worry about coordinating anything. I offer flexible payment options that can be tailored to your budget and package.

The venue we want to use offers an in-house manager, do I still need you?

Venue staff work for the venue, while venue managers oversee staff tasks within the timeframe. They may even leave to check other events. Wedding planners work for you and stay the duration of the event. They help create a timeline, greet vendors & guests, and ensure a successful event.

How soon should we hire you?

To maximize your benefits and get the most out of every service I offer, you should reach out as soon as you get engaged! I can help plan engagement parties and wedding showers, on top of doing all the legwork for your wedding! This way, you get to fully enjoy every moment of your engagement and your wedding day!

Do you have help for larger events?

Yes! For events over ~200 guests I can bring an additional coordinator for the day of the event. There is a slight additional cost associated with the extra coordinator but the extra piece of mind is worth it!

What are your timelines? Can we accommodate a tight deadline?

I can work with any timeline! Need a photographer, officiant, and venue in 3 days for an elopement? No problem! Shorter timelines need a more flexible budget, but I can make your day stress-free whether it’s in 3 days or 2 years.

How does your payment schedule work?

At the time of consultation I will take a non-refundable $250 deposit to hold your date. Then depending on the package another payment will be due either one month (for day-of) or four months (partial and full planning) before the event date. The final payment is due the week before the event.

What payment methods do you accept?

I have the ability to accept in-person payments through square. I can also email you an invoice with a payment link. I can also accept payment through PayPal or Venmo as well as a certified check or cash payment.

Do you charge extra to make changes to elements of my wedding day?

No! It isn’t uncommon to want to make changes to elements of your day and after all, its YOUR day! Just be ware that if you’re changing a vendor there could be fees from current vendors or fees from potential new ones depending on how close to your date you are changing things.
